
Caleb Simpson began shooting with a 35mm SLR camera and learning dark room developing before moving into digital photography. The lessons learned in his early days helped develop his exceptional use of light and composition skills.
As a Marketing major at the University of North Texas, Caleb's passion for photography developed after taking a course in photojournalism as an elective. It was during this course that Caleb realized photography was what he wanted to do for the rest of his life.
Caleb is a freelance photographer specializing in weddings, sports and photojournalism. Caleb's work has been published in Sports Illustrated, ESPN.com, The New York Times as well as the Denton Record-Chronicle where he freelances regularly. While Caleb shoots a wide variety of photography assignments his true passion is photojournalist and documentary photography. This style can be seen in most all of his work, especially weddings and news assignments.
In regards to weddings Caleb understands what an honor it is to be asked to document one of the most important days in a family's life, and he treats each assignment with the utmost focus and respect. Attention is given to each and every bride’s special requests.
When not behind the camera, Caleb enjoys reading, camping, hiking and spending time with his friends.
